Add, use, and remove Neuma for Zoom.

This guide explains how to connect the Neuma Zoom app, import Zoom transcript data into Neuma, and disconnect or remove the app.

Effective July 6, 2026

What the Neuma Zoom app does

The Neuma Zoom app lets an authorized user connect their Zoom account so Neuma can list that user's cloud recordings and retrieve transcript files for meetings that are available to that user.

Neuma imports Zoom transcript data as source artifacts, then uses those artifacts to create structured company intelligence records with evidence and provenance.

Add the Zoom app

  1. Sign in to Neuma at https://app.neumaos.com/sign-in.
  2. Open your workspace.
  3. Go to Sources.
  4. Choose Connect source.
  5. Select Zoom.
  6. Review the Zoom permissions requested by Neuma.
  7. Approve the connection in Zoom.
  8. After Zoom redirects back to Neuma, confirm that the Zoom source shows as connected.

If you start from the Zoom Marketplace listing, Neuma may first ask you to sign in before returning you to the Zoom authorization flow.

Use the Zoom app

  1. Keep Zoom cloud recording transcripts enabled for the meetings you want Neuma to import.
  2. Open Sources in Neuma and select the connected Zoom source.
  3. Start or wait for a Zoom sync. Neuma lists available cloud recordings and imports transcript files that your Zoom account is authorized to access.
  4. Review imported source artifacts and the intelligence records created from those transcripts in your Neuma workspace.

Neuma only uses the Zoom scopes granted during authorization to read the connected user profile, list cloud recordings, and retrieve recording/transcript content for the authorized user.

Remove or disconnect the Zoom app from Neuma

  1. Sign in to Neuma.
  2. Open your workspace.
  3. Go to Sources.
  4. Find the connected Zoom source.
  5. Select Disconnect.
  6. Confirm the disconnect action.

Disconnecting Zoom stops future Zoom collection for that connection. Neuma deletes the stored Zoom OAuth tokens and removes install-scoped Zoom transcripts, recording files, source artifacts, sync records, and related derived intelligence from active production systems as described in the Privacy Policy.

Remove Neuma from your Zoom account

  1. Sign in to Zoom.
  2. Open the Zoom Marketplace.
  3. Go to Manage and then Added Apps.
  4. Find Neuma.
  5. Select Remove and confirm.

When Zoom sends Neuma an app deauthorization notification, Neuma stops future Zoom collection for that install and performs the Zoom deauthorization deletion workflow.
